A messaging system for LANs, more similar to IRC than traditional messengers.

VyPress Chat is an instant messaging system for domestic LANs or as a private communication tool for small businesses. It has traits and functions more similar to IRC than traditional messengers (like MSN etc).

The interface and graphic look of VyPress Chat is totally configurable in terms of colours, sizes, fonts, etc. You can create channels, like in IRC, and send private messeges to just one user. It also has a status configurator (absent, busy, etc), support for TCP and IP protocols, and uses basic IRC commands like /nick, /me or /topic.
